Exercises for Your Eyes,Forehead and Lips


My previous article discussed the importance and effectiveness of facial exercises. Today, I will be showing you three facial exercises that will help you slow down the effects of aging. Keep in mind that facial exercises are done part by part in order to achieve the best results. In order to make this article brief and concise, I will be showing three facial exercises.

1.) Forehead - firm forehead will definitely enhance the way we look, and by doing facial workout focused on your forehead, you can keep it looking firm. You can do this exercise by placing both your index fingers above your eyes. While you are raising your eyebrow, keep pulling your eyes down. You can do this exercise everyday and repetitions can be done as much as you want.


2.) Eyes and Eyebrows - close your eyes and relax, and slowly move your eyes up and down. You can repeat this exercise for fifteen times or as much as you want. Now for your eyebrow exercise, sit straight, close your eyes and relax. Slowly lift your eyebrows while stretching your eyelids in order to keep your eyes closed.


3.) Lips - before doing this exercise, make sure that you have clean hands and that your fingers are clean. As soon as you finished cleaning your fingers, suck them as hard as possible, and remove them slowly from your lips while sucking. Repeat this exercise for at least 15 times in order to make your lips more firm, sexy, and attractive.

Always remember that these exercises cannot guarantee any improvements easily, but since they are free, easy to do, and nothing to lose, why not try it and see what these exercises can do for you.

Face Workout


Our skin needs pampering in some ways or another. Having a face massage occasionally helps you achieve beautiful skin. Just like exercising, a quick weekly session on the face will eliminate eye bags and puffiness in your skin. Massages have their benefits: it helps us to relax, detoxify our body and improve our blood circulation.

Massage maybe deemed as personal luxury by some and by others, necessity. If you do not want to do in a salon, you can always DIY. In fact, DIY is one of the best ways because it can be done wherever and whenever you want and it's free.


To begin with, we know that our body has toxins, caused by the foods we ingested, pollutants in our surroundings and stress in our lives. Our lymphatic system consists of a network of vessels that move fluid in our body. Essential functions of these vessels include removal of toxins from our cells through lymph drainage where toxins are directed to the nearest lymph node for dispersal. Through massage, we are promoting drainage by improving the flow of fluid through our body, getting rid of unwanted waste products, reducing toxins accumulation.


Here's one short section of Diana Moran's book entitled Fresh Face that gave tips on how to do that Lymphatic Drainage Massage.


1. Applied oil to hands. With sweeping movements, slide your hands from your chest to your chin upwards from the left side of your neck, lightly over your windpipe and then to the right.


2. Place your first fingers horizontally above your lips with your middle fingers below. Apply slight pressure and slide fingers backwards to your ears.


3. Place ring fingers by the side of each nostril and apply pressure. Release the pressure as you sweep fingers across cheeks to your ears, then reapply the pressure.


4. Place your first fingers in the centre of your forehead. Pressing firmly, slide your fingers as you trace along your eyebrows and out to your ears.


5. Now from your ears, continue sliding your fingertips lightly, tracing inwards under the eyes to your nose.


6. Close your eyes and cover your entire face, from chin to forehead (leave your nose protruding) with open hands. Press your whole face firmly, hold for 5 seconds and release."

Facial Exercises for Men


Whilst it may be a topic frequently covered in women's healthy magazines the subject of aging is equally important to the male section of society. For men, the desire to look young, particularly in the face, is just as strong as it is within the female populace. However, whilst plastic surgery is always an option, it is a little drastic. Instead performing facial exercises manually can be a worthwhile method of limiting and even reversing the signs of aging.

The face is where our bodies show the signs of age more readily than any other part of the body. These signs are the results of the day to day stresses of life, such as frown lines and also because frequently our faces are exposed to the elements, the sun, wind and rain, more than any other part of the body. Such is the importance of performing facial exercises, to battle age and retain a youthful appearance.

But how do you perform facial exercises? Below are three which may be suitable.


The first exercise works the lips and cheeks. In order to carry it out you should start by puckering your lips whilst trying to suck in a single cheek, then alternating between each of cheeks every couple of seconds. To perform the lip and cheek workout, you should alternate the cheeks around twenty times; that is forty in total. If you want to finish with a little effort you can perform the exercise whilst sucking both cheeks, holding for twenty seconds in total.


An excellent exercise for your chin and mouth, which with time can become saggy and wrinkly, is to start by bringing your lower lip over your top lip until you can feel it stretching the skin underneath your chin. Next you should bring your chin back towards your neck, taking care to keep your head level throughout. This exercise should be performed regularly to prevent wrinkles around the mouth and chin in three sets of twenty repetitions.


The final exercise involves using your fingers. Firstly place your index fingers within your mouth, pulling it apart slightly until a modicum of tension is gained. You should then tighten your lips a little to make the tension greater whilst maintaining an oval shape with your mouth. Care should be taken not to overstretch your mouth although with time you should be able to carry out thirty effective repetitions for a good workout.


These three exercises give just a small idea of how it is possible to perform facial exercises with the objective of achieving a more youthful appearance. With a little effort and a set daily routine it should be possible to effectively combat the signs of aging and look that little bit younger.

If you need to lose fat, one of the best techniques that you should try would be to exercise. No matter where the flab is, a good physical activity is sure to tone that area, even if it's on your face. 1. Sit upright and look up to the ceiling. Once in this position, purse your lips as tight as you can possibly do it. Hold the position for 5 seconds and relax. Repeat this routine 5 times daily.


2. While sitting or standing up, tip backwards and open your mouth slightly. While in this position, stretch your tongue out and attempt to touch your chin with it. Hold this posture for 5 seconds and repeat it for five times daily.


3. Put your hands below your jawline or at your upper neck. Then, half open your mouth. Try to keep this position while trying to pulling the sides of your mouth downwards, as if you're frowning. This will stretch your facial muscles and give you a pretty good workout for your jawline.


4. Another one of the best facial exercises jawline targeting routines would need you start with covering your upper lip with the lower one. Then, tilt your head backwards so you would be looking up at the ceiling. Once in this position, force a smile without removing your lips' arrangement. Hold the smile for at least five seconds and repeat the whole thing for five times. Experts say that doing this on a daily basis can give you results within a week.


5. This next technique is one of the simplest facial exercises jawline routines. All you need to do here is to move your jowls in a chewing motion with your lips closed gently for at least twenty repetitions every day. This can easily give your jaw muscles a good stretching, allowing it to get toned without a fuss.


The great thing about these facial exercises jawline techniques is that they also help in eradicating your double chin.
